My name is Mario Ridgley Jr. I reside in Palm Coast Florida and I’m a 12 year old A-B Honor, Community & Environmental Activist; known as ECO JR. I am excited to announce my love for broadcasting has carved out a niche for me to continue sharing my message of going Green, on a New Platform.
I Host Go Green Presentations throughout the Florida, New Orleans and Atlanta communities. I have achieved placement all the way to State level at our Imagine Schools Science Fair in the Environmental category Plastics vs Bio Degradable. As 6th grade SGA President I teamed up with Waste Pro of Florida and World Green Consultants Inc., and started my schools Recycling Program offering yearly certificates towards the economic sustainability goals with class pizza parties based on recycling incentives twice yearly for students. I will continue to work towards an Eco Friendly School. I have been blessed to become the President of the KIDSTAR Radio Network, learning the fundamentals of operations acting as point man for media appearances and inquiries. This has also opened the door to hosting Mario’s Blog. In an effort to raise environmental awareness and set an example for my peers, I am driven to make a positive impact on the world around me. I am happy to start off a new year of exploring the natural world around me, selecting Green topics that KIDS around the WORLD are talking about.
